Disclaimer – This is just the user interface for Siri, it will not connect to apple’s servers. It will not work. So please if you decide to install it, back up your device first…..
Below is the link on how to install Siri on to your iPhone 4, here is a written guide below,
Step 1: Jailbreak your iPhone/iPod touch on iOS 5 using Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze.
Step 2: Download files required for the Siri port to iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G. You will have to find these files yourself as we wont be able to share these files with you.
Step 3: Using a file explorer for your iOS device, copy over the AssistantServices.framework folder you downloaded in Step 2 to Root > System > Library > PrivateFrameworks after plugging in your device to your computer via USB.
Step 4: Transfer all files from the Springboard folder in Step 2 to Root > System > Library > CoreServices > Springboard.app on your iOS device.
Step 5: Using iFile (you can get it from Cydia), open the .plist file for your iOS device from System > Library > CoreServices > Springboard.app. It will be named N81AP for iPod touch 4G and N9x for iPhone 4 (where x may be 0, 1, 2).
Step 6: Add a new property list named assistant to the .plist file and set its class as Boolean while setting its value as YES.
Step 7: Add the following to the .plist file:
Step 8: Respring your iOS device.
If you followed the steps correctly, Siri’s GUI will be installed on your iOS device. You can hold the Home button to activate it. Once again, we remind you that voice commands don’t work yet since Apple’s servers don’t accept voice command input from iPhone 4 or iPod touch 4G.
UPDATED: @musclenerd has just posted a YouTube Video with the iPad2 running iO5 unetethered Jailbreak. watch it here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJVGl1eRW2A&feature=youtu.be
Just a few minutes ago, @musclenerd has tweeted photos of the iPhone 4s Jailbreak. however he has stated that it’s in the early stages and still need a lot of work!
This is great news for users who had the previous iPhones because since they upgraded to the 4s, many of them lost their jailbreaks
One last bit of advice, do not bother the developers about a release date, they work hard and it is very frustrating for them. they, like us. want it in the public just as fast as possible! but it needs to be ready and safe for everyone. Just sit back, relax and plan what jailbreak tweaks / themes you intend to install on your iPhone 4s
Today I saw on Twitter from a user i follow, that you can actually get Siri to restart or “respiring” your device.
This leads me to believe that there are many more sayings, quotes & requests are still out there unasked.
What would you like to ask Siri and what unusual questions have you already asked

Over the past few day, blogs have been posting information regarding a new product, the “Apple TV” but haven’t we already got one of them sitting on our desks / tables?
Apple have apparently been working on integrating the Apple TV into an actual TV. I would imagine this was Steve Jobs next big thing, He finally “cracked” it!
Over the past few years, The internet has bought us together but at the same time, taken us away from the TV, Apple have not only realised this (like millions of internet users) but they are planning on bringing us back to the TV (does that take a genius to realise this could work?)
This brings me back to what Apple stand for, THINK DIFFERENT…… otherwise put, what can we make the best that is already around.
I imagine Apple will launch the new Apple TV early 2012 and it will impress us beyond our wildest dreams, they will make it look simply beautiful and also make the UI one that we all know and love!
What are your thoughts on the idea of an actual Apple TV, would you buy one?
Today we finally saw the release of the Steve Jobs biography, certain shops around the world have slowly been adding this book to their shelves. The iBook Store and Amazon added it on the stroke of midnight to their databases for download.
I personally purchased it myself from a Waterstones in Angel Islington, London. Unfortunately like most stores, I had to pay the RRP of £25.00 for it. I was not phased by this as I wanted a physical book. I know that some stores are selling the book for the reduced price of £15.00.
So my thoughts on the book so far, well i’ve currently read up to page 30 so far, what i have learnt from this book so far is that both Steve Jobs & Woz were both very similar people with the same passions in life, one to cause mayhem to cure their boredom & secondly their love of “tinkering” – My impressions of Woz so far leave me to believe me that he was, and is an extremely bright person with the know how to put his mind to anything to achieve his goal, Steve was also very impressive in the thought process of his ideas, together Steve & Woz were the perfect partnership.
Over the coming days I will be posting updates about this book and my personal feelings towards it, if you find this article interesting, please share it with someone, anyone who you think could benefit from it.
This is my first blog post so to start things off, I will make this a quick one. Currently my most recent video on YouTube, A quick overview of a bug that made my device unusable for a day. In the end i had to restore it as nothing I tried, would work.
