How To: Enable / Hidden Panorama Without Jailbreak

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtTZKro_VQo

Remember the hidden panorama mode we posted about yesterday?

not to shabby……..

Well today FSM posted a method of how to enable it on all devices including the 4S.

“1. Download iBackupBot from the official website. ( Mac and Windows )

2. Plugin your iPhone and back it up via iTunes

3. Open iBackupBot and find the backup that you just made via iTunes. Select and load it.

4. Find Library/Preferences/com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist

5. Now you need to add a key to this .plist file. Open the file ( on mac, it just works *wink, wink* ) and near the bottom, add a key ( enableFirebreak ) and a string ( YES )

6. Save your modifications, and right from iBackupBot restore your iPhone with the modified iTunes backup

7. That’s it. Open your camera app, tap on options and there it is.”

Flash Mobile – “That Looks SHIT”

Flash “That Looks Shit” – One thing you could assure Steve Job’s would have said about Flash, there has been a long argument with Apple and the use of Flash. They have refused to use it on there products since the start and Apple wanted HTML5

GoodBye FLASH < Hello HTML5

Here’s Apple official standing on Flash posted here a while back

A lot of people including iDevice users thought Flash would eventually dominate HTML5 and we recall even Steve Jobs saying that it might, However HTML5 will not almost defiantly become industry standard in the mobile platform due to the fact it’s biggest rival (Adobe) are axing Flash

Apple have always and will continue to use what they think is best, from the Thunderbolt connection, to HTML5. The fact is they are now one of the world’s largest companies making it easier to make a new technology, industry standard.

What are you thoughts on the death of Flash on mobile devices, Will it overtime cease to exist on all computers as well? will HTML5 become industry standard?

Siri not coming to older Apple devices, Apple confirms

According to an email sent by Apple to developer Michael Steeber, the technology giant won’t be implementing Siri in any of its older devices any time soon.

This was a predicatble move by Apple as Siri in the iPhone 4s is one of the few factors, apart from its internal improvements, that makes the iPhone 4s worth the upgrade from its predecessor.

However, as seen before, developers will continue to try to port Siri over to devices like the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 3gs, and with some luck they just might be able to do it.

iPhone Demands – Still Strong As Rollouts Continue To Appear

Apple’s iPhone 4S is one of the best selling phones of the year so far. As its getting released in more countries, iOS users are going crazy over Siri as preorders in Hong Kong sold out in 10 minutes! :O In stores 85-90% of all stock is going everyday! Everyone must want Siri on their device.

iPhone App Developer Finds Security Flaw In iOS!

Charlie Miller recently on Monday found that there a massive iOS security flaw. He created a app that allowed arbitrary codes to pass through.

He had found a bug that would allow the app to break the restrictions and access any data on the iOS. Instead of just discovering it he decided to test out this bug and Miller developed an app containing the restricted codes and later the app was accepted and was available at the App Store.

This app sends personal info to a remote computer and lets Charlie see it. Apple have now found out about this and revoked his license for iOS Development Program as he broke the User License Agreement.Maybe he should read the License Agreement next time  like none of us does! :P  Here is a video of the security flaw he made

Apple Store Updated For In-store Collection

Today apple released an update for the Apple Store update, you can download it here right now

Some of the most significant updates are;

The user interface is looking much better and it is an easier user experience, the store’s reserve and collect service is now available worldwide.

Here at MRiOSDevices we think although this feature has been around for years with other companies Apple will undoubtably benefit from the ease of reserving a product and in the future have a better understanding of Pre Orders. We think they will implement this into the App at a later date as an update

How To: Enable / Hidden Panorama

A secret panorama mode has been found by @Conradev in the ios5 firmware files and you can enable it yourself from the com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist or you can simply go to cydia and download the firebreak app by chpwn.

the panorma mode comes up inside the comera.app but on the ipod touch 4g it crashes. considering that its not even in beta the UI looks nice and it works nicely on other devices. whislst ther are other panorama apps out thetre apple has never implemented one naitvley and ot would be anice feature to see in the future iOS5 perhaps.

Motorola wins legal battle over Apple blocking sales in Germany

Are you in Germany and wanted a brand new, gleaming iPhone? Well Motorola have just spoiled that when a court ruling has denied sales of iPhone’s in all of Germany.

Apple lawyers have said that  it won’t affect sales of the iPhone. Well everyone wants Siri!

Apple products sell well in Germany so Apple may lose out in the long-term as users may go for a Android or Windows Phone handset.

What’s your verdict on this? Comment below and check out our new twitter page on the site now!
