Recently Cydia was updated with a new tweak called Browser Changer. Browser Changer is a free app that enables you to change the default browser to anything of your choice. The app can be downloaded only on Jailbreaked devices, which is available for free from cydia.

Here it is, the video that displays what Jailbreaking is about, Thanks to the guys over at Jailbreak Matrix for this video of 100 jailbreak tweaks. Jailbreaking started in the middle of 2007, before the app store was even a sparkle in Steve Jobs’ eye, today it is used by millions upon millions of people worldwide.
Although completely legal, Apple still will not approve of jailbreaking, this has it’s pros and cons, thankfully more pros. There are some negatives that frustrate many jailbreakers, the biggest in MriOSDevices is understanding, many users think that it is buggy, unstable, illegal, even difficult, and a couple of years ago, they may have been right.
Today jailbreaks are actually SAFER than the security of iOS, the whole premise of a jailbreak comes from flaws in iOS in the first place, So what are you waiting for, watch the video and see if you will give it a shot, it is completely reversible and will not void your warranty.

Hey everyone !
I just recently joined MriOSDevices (yesterday) and I am really proud to be apart of the team, I will be bringing you posts for the website as often as possible, I hope you will enjoy my take on Apple, tech and of course share my posts.
One passion I have is 2012′s most anticipated event, JailbreakCon – Formally MyGreatFest.
I know it’s a bit early to talk about that but the JailbreakCon ( World Wide Jailbreak Convention ) however, before we now it, it will be here! I hope you’re as excited about it as we are! make sure you follow us for all the latest news about this event!
It will take place at the South San Francisco Conference Center in California, home state of Apple inc.

If you cannot personally make the event, JailbreakCon will be live streaming the whole day, Unlike last year, the live stream will be mobile, it will go around the convention and privately chatting with speakers and visitors to interact with it’s audience more.

Whats Been Happening This Week? [Apple]
Well what has been happening? We will tell you if you haven’t already heard!
Well “The New iPad” was released, bringing loads of new features, still at the same price and GB size as the iPad 2, Released this Friday! We cannot wait.
Also, there was a brand new Apple TV(not the HDTV, The Small Box), it now has a A5 Chip, new UI and 1080P! Awesome, we know.
Also, AT&T Customers on the iPhone 4S may have saw they have a 4G Symbol instead of an 3G one, do not get your hopes up, it is HSDPA which is 21MBPS, a very low 4G. Video below that will explain it fully.

Virgin America Honours Steve Jobs!

Back on October 5th 2011, Steve Jobs passed away, it was a very sad day for everyone in the tech world, even ‘Android Fanboys’ were shocked.
Virgin America have added “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish” to one of their Airbus Airplanes to honour him, this was said back in 2005 at Stanford University, where Steve did a speech to students.
It was part of a internal competition held by Richard Branson but still it is awesome that it is on a plane! Lets just hope Apple don’t sue them like they do with everything at the moment.
MriOSDevices and lots of Tech Geeks send condolences to the Jobs Family and he will be servilely missed.
RIP Steve.
Tweak Review: Pull To Refresh Mail!
In the Twitter 4.0.1 App, you pull down to refresh the tweets, A Cydia Tweak developer has created this for mail!
It is extremely useful and Rob Johnson uses it all the time as it saved you pressing the button in the bottom left corner giving you more productivity!
All of the MriOSDevices team are avid Twitter fans and this has became a custom to us as we use iPhones and the Twitter app.
Apple should defiantly include this in a future update, making it a option in the Mail App to toggle between pulling or pressing the button, maybe making a gesture for Mac OS X Lion’s Mail App?

Jonathan Ive has 50″ HDTV In His Lab?
Over the past few months, there has been reports of a Apple Television, this would be a great addition to the Apple line as it could have many features that normal HDTV’s do not have yet. It has been reported that Jonathan Ive has a 50″ HD Apple TV inside his top secret lab. This lab can only be accessed by Jonathan or selected Employees.
This new TV’ may have new features inside it like a Siri Voice Assistant and there has been reports that suppliers have been supplying components for a 32″ and 37″ TV which would suit other range of people who want a smaller TV for their Lounges or to put on a Bedroom wall, the 40-50″ ranges could appeal to people who want one for a larger lounge.
There has been many different rumors going around and some are pretty stupid, Apple are always under wraps with the creation of new products. There has been more reports that Steve Jobs left 5 years worth of plans for projects before he sadly passed away on October 5th 2011.

Cat Plays Fruit Ninja On iPad!
Since Fruit Ninja was released in April 2010, it has been a hit on iDevices!
It looks like in this new YouTube video that its not just humans who love chopping fruit!
A cat has been playing Fruit Ninja on an iPad 2 and it seems to be enjoying it a lot!
MriOSDevices is a big fan of Fruit Ninja and think it is very addictive!
