Crest Twitter Client For iPad [ By @b3ll ]

Crest from @b3ll is a gorgeous, well made twitter client for the iPad, you can purchase it for £1.49 and the respective prices for your specific currency.

Crest Teaser from Miles Ponson on Vimeo.

So what’s so special about Crest?

The animation and Graphic User Interface is flawless, the way the icons drop to fill the screen. It allows you to see who’s tweeting and what they are tweeting about from their picture falling from “the cloud”

Simple gestures allow you to check your profile (swipe left) and if you tap an image, you can swipe right on it to reply to the person and or conversation. There are few setting, they consist of a 3g toggle and the ability to use Retweets

The text on the tweets are big and clear to read, as well as using the retina display on your iPad to view everything in absolute clarity.

MriOSDevices highly recommends you check out this app, we’re sure you will love it!

What Smart Phone Do You Use?

MriOSDevices want to know what phone you use, doesn’t have to be Apple(but we hope it is), just comment below.

Here at MriOSDevices HQ, Dan uses a 4S, along with Aamir, David and Alex. Rob at the moment is using no phone, however he is looking to get an iPhone 4S.

But what we want to know is, what do you use? iPhone, Windows Phone, Android, Blackberry even?

Maybe your contract is due upgrading, and you think you want a iPhone but you don’t want to pay the premium and you’re thinking of the Galaxy Nexus or HTC One X. They all have bigger screens.. But run Android Ice Cream Sandwich which iOS kicks ass against.

Comment below with what phone you use and what phone you want. Have a great day.

Do You Like The iPad Smart Cover? [Including Exciting Video]

Since the iPad 2, Apple released the iPad Smart Covers, they’re awesome, with a tonne of colors, for you to pimp out your iPad with! But, MriOSDevices want to know if you like them? We love to interact with you guys and see what you think! Comment below.

Design

The design is awesome, but has a few faults, there’s no back cover! Don’t worry though, you can calm down, yes you, SwitchEasy do a back cover, but that is more money to spend on accessories. Another fault is… Apple do not sell the Orange Smart Cover anymore!! UTTER FAIL!

You can still get one from Tesco in the UK, or pick a different color, the blue is nice.

Functionality

The function of The Smart Cover is to protect your screen(obviously) but it cleans and locks your screen when closed also. That’s awesome.

Well, we love them, but do you? Like we said earlier, comment below, we read every comment and sometimes reply, to those special people(yes Bob, that’s you)

Have a great Easter, all who celebrate and check out Adam Matthew’s latest video below and see whats on his iPad!

4G LTE Might Be Heading To “The New iPhone”

Hey everyone!

After iOS 5.1 came out and the iPad 3 followed, as well with 4G LTE. Many people are lead to believe that the next iPhone will be 4G LTE. This might infact be true, because some command lines found in iOS 5.1 show promising signs:

See video for more details

In addition to the 4G LTE, we should have FaceTime on 4G LTE for the next iPhone, What are your thoughts & what would you like to see on the next generation device?

TweetBot VS Twitter For iPhone!

Tweetbot VS Twitter For iPhone!

For a long time, Twitter has been around, now with everyone on Smartphones, especially the iPhone, there is more choice of applications. The main ones at the moment are Tweetbot and Twitter For iPhone. There is more like TweetDeck etc but we’re comparing these two.

Tweetbot is a paid app, however Twitter For iPhone is free, this could swing you.

Features

  • Clean UI
  • Smart Gestures.
  • Nice Notifications
  • Streaming (when on WiFI with settings to disable it)

That’s just a few features that come included.

Verdict

Well, Rob and Dan use Twitter For iPhone, just because it was really the first Twitter app that was mass used and we’re used to it, with 4.0 its got a great UI and great settings to tweak the amazing app. Lots love Tweetbot but it’s not for us. Tell us your verdict! Comment below.

Should You Upgrade From The Orignial iPad Or iPad 2 To The New iPad? Lets Find Out!

The New iPad, or “iPad 3″ as people are calling it has been out for a few days now. People with the iPad 2, thinking of upgrading, here’s something you should read, just before you decide.

Pros!

One of  The New iPad’s main features is the display. This has been updated to a crazy resolution, something that needed doing as the iPad 2′s screen was not the best, a lot of people didn’t like it. So that’s a plus!

Another new feature is the A5X Processor, this is the iPad 2′s Dual-Core Processor with a upgraded Quad Core Graphic’s GPU, this isn’t really noticed in normal usage but when you’re getting your Infinity Blade on, you’ll notice it. That’s always good, right?

This is a nice feature that you may not use all the time is… Voice Dictation, it’s like a slimline Siri, it’s really cool if you’re a slow texter!

Cons!

Now, onto the bad stuff, uh oh.

The battery life is brilliant on The New iPad, but charging time has nearly doubled, taking over 5 hours to charge from 0-100%! Not good!

Next is the design, no change! Also, The New iPad is thicker, but it is for that huge battery, so I guess it’s all good??

Finally, the biggest fail, putting the 5MP Camera on the back! Put it on the front! No one will carry a iPad as a camera! On the front it will be better for Video Conferencing, VGA Quality is stupid.

Well, rant over, now it is what you’ve been waiting for, should you get it? Well if you think you will use all those great features, go on, trade in your iPad 2, but if not, don’t do it! Not worth your hard earned cash.

If you have the original iPad, defiantly get it, The Original iPad is too slow and won’t be supported by Apple For iOS soon. Trade and upgrade!

Hope this helps you guys, don’t forget to share on Twitter, click Like on Facebook and we hope to see you soon!

Whats Been Happening This Week? [Apple]

Well what has been happening? We will tell you if you haven’t already heard!

Well “The New iPad” was released, bringing loads of new features, still at the same price and GB size as the iPad 2, Released this Friday! We cannot wait.

Also, there was a brand new Apple TV(not the HDTV, The Small Box), it now has a A5 Chip, new UI and 1080P! Awesome, we know.

Also, AT&T Customers on the iPhone 4S may have saw they have a 4G Symbol instead of an 3G one, do not get your hopes up, it is HSDPA which is 21MBPS, a very low 4G. Video below that will explain it fully.

That is pretty much it, do you like? Want to see more of these? Comment below!

As FPSRussia says, Have A Nice Day.
