Recently, this Trojan for OS X has became apparent by Apple themselves, Apple rumor sites(like us) and Security firms. It uses security holes in old versions of Java to get into OS X and like every Trojan, hurts your Mac and steals your information.
Recently Apple announced 10.8 with advanced built-in security for your Mac called “Gate Keeper” which from this Summer should remove viruses which do not have a certificate saying they’re from a Valid Company. You can tweak that in System Preferences in 10.8.
The creators of this horrible Trojan are always tweaking it to make it less noticeable by OS X and it pops up in OS X “Do you want content signed by Apple Inc. on your computer?”. Then we know its fake because there isn’t a certificate for the software as there would be for a normal Apple Software product. This is shown in the picture below.
