Although Apple sold $8,000,000 worth of tickets to this year’s WWDC, chances are you are not the owner of one. Over the years, tickets have sold in increasingly quicker times. This year was no exception with an estimated selling time of 80 SECONDS.
For those of us who want to be apart of it, you can now visit a web address on your devices Safari, and it will add your very own WWDC ticket. Take a look at the images below to see for yourself.
Send us a tweet or leave a comment below if you followed this simple step to acquire your own WWDC ticket.
There are two things I love about a new Apple device. Firstly it’s new, fresh design. Secondly the look of a new Carbon Fibre skin on that new device. iCarbons are the leading manufacturer in this market, their impressive library hosts all the tech that you should give a damn about.
I rarely make videos these days, mainly because of time but also because I rarely feel the passion/drive to “show it off”. Today I needed to show these devices in simplicity and my video below shows it!!
In addition to this video, I will include below a whole host of photos that now sit proudly on my hard disk drive and social network sites like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
You can buy your own iCarbons from the official site and the official UK Reseller iCarbons & PhoneManiac
What do you use to protect your devices, do you prefer a case or are you hardcore and enjoy your device naked? leave a comment below!
Day 2 of the public release for the iPhone 5, two things are on my mind;
1. When will a public jailbreak be available
2. How can we protect our devices.
The iPhone 5′s front will be simple, screen protectors are available on sites like eBay and Amazon, but for the back plate it is a different story. Because of the indentation of the logo and “iPhone” text, as well at the top and bottom bands, this iPhone will not accept the standard screen protectors.
Standard screen protector
I have thought this since before attempts have been made and thanks to @MattyB1994 on Twitter, here is proof of the apparent problem. The only solution is to either purchase a skin, case or carbon fibre product along the likes of iCarbons.com
however if you’re like me, in love with the “naked” look then I suggest you spending a little more money on a decent wet applied screen protector. Go with a brand with quality like ZAGG etc.
Today, Apple released an update to iOS 6 Beta, which gives users that are rocking it now a better performing device. Apple normally do not just include Beta Bug Improvements when releasing an update like they did today, they threw in some improvements for Maps and the Navigation part of it(see picture below). Being a fan of modding my iDevices with Cydia since 2007, I have always enjoyed being able to have something that the next person doesn’t have. Today we are in a world where million up on millions of Apple devices are in the pockets and bags of most people. Especially living in London, I am forever seeing Apple devices on the tube and buses around the City.
Back in 2007 I was fortunate enough to purchase my 1st gen iPhone approx 6 months before release in the UK, one of the reasons was because of the capabilities of the phone Apple had released, the other reason was because I was one of the first in the UK to have one!
This video above gives me that feeling I once had for my first gen iPhone, the ability to create something that no one has, the ability to charge your iPhone WIRELESSLY. I know this is nothing major, perhaps it’s the geek in me but I love the fact we can modify our devices to our needs.
The iPhone battery has sometimes been an issue for some, plugging into a wall outlet several times a day, personally I always have access to a power pack or wall outlet, additionally have multiple iDevices helps me manage my battery consumption.
Today an engineer has modified his iPhone to wirelessly charge from a Power-mat, something that many hope for in ‘the new iPhone’ – today you can try this yourself, but be warned… this is not for mr average Joe, you need to have knowledge of iPhone assembly and the ability to solder etc.
MriOSDevices suggests you do not try this yourself, we don’t want to hear of people breaking their iPhones trying this out, but it does make us curious to see if it actually works. Which leads me to my question to you, what would you like to see on the new iPhone. Leave it in the comments below.
CRS Racing is not a new game, however it is still very popular and always updated in the AppStore, the developers listen to their feedback and implement different features often. I decided to review this app mainly because it’s free in the AppStore now, so many apps like this will cost you around £3.00 $4.50 and we think at MriOSDevices that after spending a fortune on your beautiful iOS devices, it is sometimes hard to pay our more for iOS games.
This game is a drag race style kind of game with Nitrous Oxide and street racing that remind me of Fast & Furious, you can upgrade your cars and have garages full of beautiful machines.
My favourite parts of the app are the smaller things, customised number plates “MriOS” in particular, the opportunity to show off your cars on Twitter and the integration of social media.
Check out this application today, you will not be disappointed! LINK

Recently Cydia was updated with a new tweak called Browser Changer. Browser Changer is a free app that enables you to change the default browser to anything of your choice. The app can be downloaded only on Jailbreaked devices, which is available for free from cydia.
