iMessage Experiences Outages for Many

20120723-080731.jpg

This past week many users of Apple’s internal messaging system, iMessage have been experiencing many outages or losses of connection whilst using it. Most of the time it’s rather difficult to identify a problem with Apple’s messaging service as the majority of the time it can be blamed on your data connection being insufficient to send a message, at least such thing is true in the UK. However it’s been recognised in places where a strong data connection is present. Some of the MriOSDevices team have been experiencing quite severe outages over the whole of last weekend.

Alex Limi Shows Off New Mozilla iPad Broswer!

20120618-111707.jpg

Mozilla’s Alex Limi is building a replacement for safari on the iPad since he(and myself)thinks it’s so disgusting and ugly. Limi offered a glimpse at Junior In a recent presentation showing the fruits of the Mozilla Product, an iPad browser that hopes to redefine how we view the internet on tablets or apple tablets for now at least. The prototype browser is jam-packed with features like the traditional address bar/tab layout in favor of a minimalistic, full screen experience, flanked by only two obvious toggles — a back button, and a plus symbol that opens a menu containing favorites, recent pages and a URL/search bar. Other common options such as reload, forward and print are hidden away, but accessible. The idea is a simple browsing experience that’s more fun, engaging and ergonomic. “It’s very simple,” Limi implies, “it’s a browser.” He stresses that Junior is still just a prototype, albeit a compelling one. Interested?

If you can’t wait for this awesome browser to be released you can try out an alternative, cloud browse is an awesome Firefox based browser for iPhone and iPad that has all the features of Firefox including flash but not the best quality.
