This past week many users of Apple’s internal messaging system, iMessage have been experiencing many outages or losses of connection whilst using it. Most of the time it’s rather difficult to identify a problem with Apple’s messaging service as the majority of the time it can be blamed on your data connection being insufficient to send a message, at least such thing is true in the UK. However it’s been recognised in places where a strong data connection is present. Some of the MriOSDevices team have been experiencing quite severe outages over the whole of last weekend.

Standalone Podcast App in iOS 6?
One of these things was actually in the topic of the heavily discussed new version of iOS. iOS 6. We know that many of you are a fan of listening to podcasts. Well, there have been a few, additional, rumors in which proclaim for Apple to announce a standalone Application for podcasts to be store in order to maintain your listening pleasure.
All will become revealed come the final release of iOS 6.
Please be sure to check this article again soon for future updates regarding this topic.
WWDC: iOS 6 Confirmed
With WWDC on Monday, Rumors have been going mad these past few days with speculations on what we are going to potentially see. On a less predictive note, news has just come in from sunny California confirming the fact that Apple are going to be talking about iOS 6 at there keynote on Monday, the reason why this is confirmed is due to the banners in which have been spotted at the venue for WWDC in San Francisco today.
Of course speculations have to come along with the truth! As people, as per usual, have been looking into the banners in which have been put up and saying that the color scheme is more silver and ‘mono’ to what has been present in current and past versions of iOS, suggesting that App icons, for example are going this color, rather than the current ‘blue’ like color scheme. Further suggestions present the fact that this has been already prominent in the release of the new iPad, so therefore they are planning to bring this color scheme onto all of the iOS devices.

As for compatibility, only time will take its course. However my allegations would be that it will support only second and third generation iPads – speaking from experience with iOS 5 on the first generation iPad, its getting rather sluggish and I cant see it being as pleasurable use if a more sophisticated OS is going to be installed. Furthermore, this could mean that it wont be supported on the iPhone 4 as it sports the same processor as that from the iPad first generation, however that would mean that only those whom are in possession of iPhone 4S’ will be able to experience the new operating system, and this isn’t how Apple have played the game in new iterations of late.
The iPad 3 – What To Expect #MriOSDevices
So the rumour mill has been spinning full throttle the past few days, MriOSDevices wants to give you it’s perception of whats to come.
1. So what is most likely to be in the 3rd instalment of the iPad?
As far as we are concerned, the iPad 3 or 2S will have a retina display, this was anticipated in the current version however Apple struggled with battery power and it didn’t come to light.
Also expected that the next-gen iPad will have a larger battery to handle this screen as well as handle the extra processing power.
The new A6 chipset is expected in this version and it will also feature a quad-core processor
2. How much will it cost?
Many rumour and the consistency of apple makes this pretty easy to recommend, Prices for the base model wifi only will be approx £399.00 UK or $499.00 US running all the way to the top model (Wifi & 3G model) costing £659.00 UK & $829.00 US
True to form when the next-gen iPad is announced, Apple should drop the price of the current iPad by £100 / $100 so if you’re looking for a bargain then this might be your option.
Another widely anticipated extra will be a 128GB drive, what would we see this priced at, leave a comment below with your thoughts.
3. What software can we expect
Siri is currently only for the iPhone 4S, Mainly to encourage users to purchase their latest devices, we can honestly see Siri coming to the next iPad as it will attract users without Siri currently on their older devices
It will come with iOS 5 like the current iPad, the next major firmware upgrade will be 5.1 which is currently in Beta.
4. What would we like to see on the next iPad
If apple can give us all of the above then i think this would be a successful update to an already brilliant device, Picture that we will post below show upgraded rear cameras however no sign of an upgraded front facing camera (which is very much-needed) hopefully the rear camera will match, if not super seed the 4s 8mp)
5. Finally – will a tablet give apple any competition in 2012
This is pretty much an easy answer in my opinion, no….. Apple is finally achieving a world-wide boom in profit, sales and recognition. this is something Window’s has held so several years in an already difficult market.
The only competitor that’s realising apple is currently Samsung, and personally. as long as they try to get customers by insulting apples achievements then we doubt they will.
