Instagram the awesome little photo sharing app for iPhone has been on the market for 1 and a half years now and was recently ported to android and later sold to Facebook for $1 billion. this sale has caused many users to move away from the service. Instagram currently has over 30 million users any service that integrates with it is sure to get lots of users.
Will Evans (Who was kind enough to give us an interview below) previous iPhone developer decided to use the instagram API to integrate his website with instagram so users could log straight in with their instgram login without having to make a new account.
Webagram allows you to view all your Instagram photos online in a nice viewer as you can see above as well as allowing you to download all your photos for users wishing to move away from the service. once a user has logged into the site via the instagram API they can easily view their photos at http://www.webagram.net/[Instagram_Username]. the only thing that i would be cautious of is the fact that once you have approved this service anyone can input your username and see all your photos.

As you can see the images are nicely set out so you can see them and any comments you have put with them. it also allows you to see how many people liked the photo. A feature that i really like about this is that its super simple to set up which can be an important thing for some people. The service is available for free at www.webagram.net and i would recommend it to all instagram users.
What other services like this do you currently have on the web?
“I used to have a service, ClipBoy but I recently shut that down, for various reasons.”
Do you plan on expanding to other apps and doing similar things and future plans for Webagram?
“Hopefully I am going to be implementing some cool new things, maybe liking and commenting on images and also some better sharing techniques.”
future plans for new services?
“At the minute I plan on making new services when I feel the need for there to be one, I cannot predict when, but whenever there is an opportunity, I will hopefully be making something.”
You made iOS apps, do you have any upcoming iOS projects?
“Not at the minute, my iOS career has very much ended for the time being and I mainly just do web development now, I find it much more enjoyable and versatile. Although I may be porting webagram to a web-app in the future!”
